You have had some issues with food. First, some of the fruit you picked were either not ripe or poisonous. Three members have gotten seriously sick with diarrhea and dehydration. Second, some of your members have developed allergies to something. But hey, good news, you are the only island to have found the remains of your crashed plane.
Section [06]
You’re in luck because one of your members thinks he/she knows how to identify which fruit (most likely berries) is poisonous. Research all about poisonous berries and post a picture. You don’t want to forget, which one it is.
List possible complications of allergies/food poisoning:
Food Allergy/Posioning causes gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and, stomach cramps. In more rare allergic reactions, it can cause nerve damage.
*Poisonous berries like these are called pokeweed berries. Their bright color warns animals not to eat them.
This picture is an example of some of the berries that have been getting the people on our island sick. We have to find a way to stop this immediately and find a new source of nutrition.

List allergy symptoms your members have:
- stomach cramps
- vomiting
- shortness of breathe
- low blood sugar
Possible causes of allergies:
Always get that person away from the plant and treat immediatley!
Write a plan of action for how to deal with the food poisoning/allergies using the resources you have (pre-plane items):
We have salvaged a first-aid kit, which contains anti-diarreah medication, aspirin, laxatives, and antacid (for stomach aches). Because some of our members have low blood sugar levels, we are going find fruits , and allow them to replensh their blood sugar. Using our medications, we can cure the ailments of our people, but we need to be more careful, so as to conserve our supplies.
High Blood Sugar - Give them one serving of cactus fruit, which is known to lower blood sugar
Low Blood Sugar- Fruits found on island with high sugar content, fruits we know are safe. Through trial and error, we know which fruits make us sick and which don't.
Diarreah- Use cure from First-Aid Kit
Stomach Aches - Pills from Kit
Stomach Cramps - Allow the members to be inactive for a period of time. Also, if we have a box of tum's advil in our first aid kit we could use that to stop the cramps.
Shortness of Breath - Use the emergency Asthma inhaler found in the First-Aid kit.
Section [09]
You are in luck. You have found the remains of the crashed plane in the desert. There is metal debris and a few items that are usable. Pick three from the plane bag.
-2 Flotation Seats
-Empty suitcase
-Carry-on w/ small hygiene kit & soiled clothes
Includes shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, razor, tooth brush and paste"
1)
How will these three items help you in general? With the food poisoning/allergies?
In General:
Lotion would help with burns
Shaving cream- self defense/ hunting/ cleaning dirty hands
Toothpaste- clean wounds, bugbites, burns, AS FOOD
Razor- scale a fish
Plane debris- Used for shelter!!, also for cooking (pots, etc.)
Shampoo-cleansing and removing cuts, dirt, and oils
Conditioner- used to prevent rust on metal tools (including plane debris)
Seat Cushions- used for relaxation, injured people (stretcher)
Poisoning/ Allergies:
Lotion-skin allergies/ rashes
What debris can you use from the plane? How will you use it?
The debris we can use from the plane would include scrap metal from the plane itself, cords (from the control panel on the front of the plane), pullout trays, and the arm rests.
This is how we will use our findings:
Metal- Used to build a hut or small shelter to protect people from the elements (sun, rain, etc.). This metal can be used to make/ as hunting tools as well as small rafts to sail farther from the shore to fish.
Cords-Used in the same manner as palm fronds would be used (weaved together to make netting, etc.) Also can be used to capture boars/ other animals for hunting (since it is very durable).
Pullout Trays- Used as chopping blocks for our meat, tools for hunting animals. Can also be used as a material to make a small boat (in order to float farther from shore to fish).
Arm Rests- Used as hunting tools (club boars). If necessary, can be used to build a small raft.
Seat Cushion- Used as pillows or cushions for injured people.
This is a picture of my arm after it was cut while I was walking through the extreme forest terrian.
Section [04]
Something terrible happened to one of the members exploring the plane. Pick one out of the accident bag.
1
[Name of Member]
Jack Howell
[illustration of condition]
Jack was walking through the forrest, while he tripped on a stump. When he was falling down his arm scrapped a a rigid part of a branch. This gash was white originally but as the second went on the blood began to trickle down his arm. The blood was quick, but sparse.

List possible dangers/complications of condition:
There could possibly be an infection to occur within the wound. The wound could let to such a bad infection that it could cause a life threatning disease or illness.
Source:
http://www.tpub.com/content/medical/14295/css/14295_188.htm
[Resources/tools you will use]
I would use the First Aid Kit that has antibacterial wipes to differ from the bleeding and use gauze. Then used the I use a lot of iontments and creams on the wound to speed up the process of healing.
[Plan of Action]
We will use the first aid kit, and then we'll wash the blankets and rip them up. Then we would tie them around the wound to stop the bleeding. (Pressure on the wound stops the bleeding). After, we'll try and clean the wound so that person wouldn't get infected. We could also put the arm in salt water which could help the healing and kill any possible infections.

We've added in-depth cures and symptoms, and have pretty good cures. (we all did it). Mrs. L said we're winning (with island 3)!

Do we have Pain medication? Or something we could use if someone got stung by a jellyfish? Or ate a jellyfish? (Don't ask me how you would manage that one...)

Section 09, the link that was supposed to be used to allow people to look at our plane debris usage isn't working...I believe Olivia drew it and if you could try to put it on the wiki again that would be great. Thanks! For Section 09 I will list the possible ways we could use the plane debris, and if anyone wants to add anything, you are more than welcome.

Suzie, excellent job on the usage for the plane debris! They were all very good and very descriptive.
Section 4, you need to go back and site your sources asap
Olivia, you put the link to your picture up instead of the actual picture. You'll just have to re-upload it to the wiki again and it'll be fine.
Everyone, we have to continue to work together as a whole. We're currently in the lead.
If you have any questions or need to tell me something, just email it to me.

We have the first-aid kit supplies, which contains basic antiseptics (disinfecting wipes, pain killers...)
